Administrator log in problem

Hi,

I just recently purchased a new HP pavilion dv2500 centrino with the new Vista operating system. I managed to install Office without any problems, but when I tried getting my internet setup with the disc that my ISP gave me, I get a message saying "To set up BigPond Broadband ADSL, you need to be logged on as an Administrator of this computer. Please log out and log back in an as administrator." So the frustrating part is that my account is an administrator account, has been since initial setup. I've even created a second administrator account and tried the internet setup with that account, but with no luck. Please help! I'm really starting to get frustrated with this.
