Stripped? You can drill into the bolt or screw and then screw in a screw extractor (a left-handed screw). Sometimes, just drilling straight through the bolt relieves tension on the bolt and it is easier to turn.

Make sure to use the right sized drill bit if you go the screw extractor route. Extractors are available from auto parts stores.

spray at some liquid wrench on the bolts to remove corrosion that may have caused it to freeze (seize).

Window switch is bad will do down but wont go up ,how do i get window up for a quick fix.

Hi, I assume you're talking driver's window. If not, please get back to me.
pull up your switch, take connector off and hotwire the connector.
motor wires are yellow and white/black stripe.
power is yellow/light green stripe

so connect the yellow to yellow/light green and white/black stripe to ground, key on. this might be up or down--not sure.

if it is down, then connect white/black stripe to yellow/light green stripe and yellow to chassis ground, key on--should go up.

Let me know if you have questions and thanks for using FixYa.

Sun roof will not close on 02 f150

Best to start by testing the motor.

Pull down the overhead console ( spring clips, and a screw to the front is how my 2001 was mounted, but it did not have the roof panel opening, could be all spring clips ), remove the power roof panel switch connector, and apply power to the leads to the motor.

The motor is the Blue & Violet wires from the roof opening panel module.

If this tests good, next is to test the switch.

The common wire to the switch is the Brown w/ Orange stripe wire, the Close tilt up is the Tan w/ Red stripe wire and the open / Tilt down is the White w/ Red stripe wire.

MY 2004 f-150 will not come out of park. i have changed the brake switch and the speed control cutoff switch and speed control does not work

If this is a new Body Style 2004 ( not a Heritage or Lightning model ) Prior to changing the BPP ( Brake Pedal Position Switch ) did you check both sides of the Shift Interlock circuit, to see if that was the case ? The Shift interlock is Fuse 16 to the Tan w/ Red stripe wire -> Interlock section of the BPP -> Pink w/ Light green stripe wire.
The Pink w/ Light Green stripe wire is what triggers the Shift interlock solenoid.

The CC on the new body style, the disconnect switch is the only mechanical ( aside from the throttle motor, which is also acceleration ) that would need to be changed.
Did you move the deactivator switch while installing it ? These are 1 time self adjusting switches.
Test the switch from the Light Blue w/ Pink stripe wire to the Black w/ yellow stripe wire. The switch should be open with the brake pedal off. If this is working correctly, does the horn & illumination work ? This is checking of there is a problem with the clock spring for turning it on.
