My neptune dryer sounds like it is going to start but then fails

sounds like a bad motor. when it hums when you push start, open the door. put a piece of tape on the door switch to hold it in. at the same time, push the start button and turn the tub with your other hand. if it starts, this only confirms it is a bad motor. the motor will need replaced. good luck. shane
