I am looking for an Indesit IS60V dryer drum rear shaft

Hi, I am looking for an Indesit IS60V dryer drum rear shaft and bearing. This is the circular flange with 3 screw holes and a riveted shaft which then locates in the bearing. The bearing part is easy to find but not the shaft. Can anyone help please? I am in the UK if this makes any difference.

SOURCE: which 2 wires go to the door on a indesit is60v

your either not measuring from the neutral connection- to the door on your meter, or you are missing the neutral connection somewhere inside the unit itself and reading a capacitive voltage reading,a/c meters will do this if not connected correct, does the unit do anything otherwise

SOURCE: I have a Indesit Tumble

ALWAYS UNPLUG YOUR DRYER BEFORE STARTING ANY REPAIRS
Your problem sounds like drum rollers have flat spots on them or in need of lubrication
Note: This method works with most front loading machines.

Remove the electrical console that holds the timer switch, start switch, etc. from the top of the dryer.
Note: Some tops hinge and tilt backwards so they do not have to be removed and the electrical console with stay with the lid.
Also remove the lint filter and the screws holding the lint filter housing in place.
Be REAL CAREFUL not to knock any of the wires off of the timer switch. Then remove the top of the dryer.
Remove the front of the dryer. This will expose the drum and belt. Remove the drum and belt and this will expose the drum rollers, idler arm pulley and motor. Now is a good time to replace the front felt seal on the drum if it needs to be replaced. Be sure to use a good grade of weatherproof cement on the seal to glue it to the drum, sometimes the glue is furnished with the seal.
Now is also a good time to check the belt to see if it has slipped off of the idler arm pulley and also to check the belt condition for wear.
Be sure to note the route of the belt, this will come in handy when you go to reinstall the belt.
Check your drum rollers for flat spots or wear, if they have flat spots they will make a thumping type of noise or if there is too much wear on them replace them.
If the drum rollers don't have flat spots or wear on them then they probably only need lubrication. Lubricate the shaft of the rollers with a good grade of machine oil such as 3inOne oil. Reassemble the dryer, plug back in. This should solve your noise problem.

Make a lot of nosie

Hi mervyn2011
Sounds like you have a bearing problem or drum roller/slide problems.
You will need to take the dryer apart to determine which problem it is.

One of the paddles in the drum has come off. How do I screw it back on

Hi,
well, with a screwdriver??? Joking, look for the holes and match up the blade, you will need rivets and a hand rivet gun, 1/8 rivets may work, but if possible go slightly larger than existing holes, then get a drillbit the same size as the rivets. Drill the blade and holes with this bit, then rivet it back in.
Thanks

Help! My indesit IS60V tumble dryer is banging and dancing

Have the rear bearing and shaft checked. Had same problem briefly until it stopped all together. When I looked at it, I found that the drum rear shaft had worn through the bearing and had been riding on the rear panel. This caused the rear panel, being thin to wear through the shaft until it sheared. This could be repaired by replacing the bearing and rear shaft for around £30 but in my case I'll need to the check the motor isn't burnt out too.

More likely to be worn rear bearing, and or drum shaft,or possibly badly worn drum belt

My hotpoint cdt00 tumble dryer makes a loud banging noise on each rotation what is causing this

It is probably a worn rear drum bearing, remove cover of drum shaft, and examine the drum shaft for wear.
