Question about Samsung SGH-a737 Cellular Phone
I used the clear memory command and all it shows I have left in the phone memory is locked content.
I think it may have been because of a weather app I used for a while. I noticed as I used the app, once in a while it would ask me to delete something because phone memory was full so I would. Few days later, even though I had not actually saved anything in phone memory it would prompt me again to delete something because of phone memory being full.
So, now its to the point that I have nothing else on my phone left to delete, yet it is showing 28 out of 30 megs being used in phone memory. Is there some sort of hidden file system, or a cache that can be cleared somehow?
Try "restarting" your phone by pulling the battery out WHILE the phone is still on. Count to 10, put the battery back in, and turn it on. If that doesn't work, try deleting photos, or making sure that your photos and text messages aren't locked, which preserves them from deletion. If all else fails, call your cell phone company from a phone other than your cell and they can access your phone directly and should be able to fix it. I know Verizon offers this service and is very handy when all else fails.
