HP cp3505n printer won't turn on.

My HP cp3505n printer turned off by itself overnight and won't turn on now. I tried different outlets etc. and nothing seems to work. Is there a fuse in the printer that can be replaced?

There could be a fuse on the powerboard of the printer if this plugs directly to the wall with a 2 or 3 pin cord.

if you are outside of warranty you could safely take the cover apart and look for the fuse, the issue could be a blown fuse or faulty power board, if it got a shock it may have blown something else also.

Why is my printer offline?

First you need to wake up your printer; second, if your computer is not directly connected to this printer, you need to change the IP address (by detecting this printer; use "Add printer"). Somehow, if the printer power is turned off, it changed its IP address.

My printer won't turn on. I have tried turning everything off and back on but it still won't turn on.

There is only one way to find out if it is an issue with the printer or the Power cord or Power Adapter.

Normally every HP printer has 2 parts. One cord connects the Printer to an Adapter. the Adapter cord then connects to the Wall outlet.

Now that you have connected the printer to working outlet, Check after 10-15 mins if the Adapter ( black box ) is warm or cold. If the Adapter is warm and the green LED light on adapter is glowing, then it could an issue with the Cord or the Printer.

Try with another Adapter or power cord to diagnose.

For Other brand printers, there should be a power adapter ( black box ) and it should be warm when connected to wall outlet, if it is not warm then it is defective power adapter that you need to replaced. Else it is a problem with printer mechanism.

The printer will not start when you push the start button. It is a new printer

Most likely, this issue might be caused by Start button being stuck. If you can't turn the product ON by pushing the Start button, double check if the Start button is somehow stuck, and also make sure that the unit is firmly plugged in to the wall outlet. If that doesn't resolve the issue, try a different outlet because you might be experiencing power outage on the outlet where it's plugged in. If that won't resolve it, I'm afraid the unit has to be serviced.

I am getting the error code 13.05.00 on an HP laserjet CP3505n printer. The manual says that it is a front door jam. The jam is occurring every other time I try to print a document. The document is being...

13.05.00 HP CP3505N
Problem Solve. Same error. Generally either a real or phanton jam from the paper tray or manual feed tray.
SOMETIMES the manual feed would work but always one corner on the paper turned down when printed.
Remove toner cartridges and bottom paper tray
Turn printer on its back. The black plastic flap (about 9" long) that hangs down a small amount (near the white main feed roller) had one end most likely the wrong side of the small metal rollers above it.
This flap should hang about vertical. One end of it is most likely the wrong side of the small mostly metal roller above it. Each End of this flap should be about mid way between the two smaller metal rollers.
WITH CARE take a timber skewer and carefully encourage this flap back so that both ends are in the correct place

Our printer CP3505n is having trouble recognising paper size although it is standard A4 this then results in a jam

Try specifying the paper size in the drivers. When you go to file print; click on either properties or printing preferences and change the paper size to A4.

What is a inflate failure on an HP Laserjet CP3505n?

Sounds like an "initiation" failure; can be caused by many things, but usually by storage, e.g., a flash DIMM. Try powering off, then removing any add-in cards, then restarting.

Hp psc 1401 printing slow problem

Reset and relocate the productA power reset drains power from the product and returns the product to the same settings after restarting. To eliminate any potential power deficiencies that might hinder a successful alignment, HP suggests you move the product to another location and plug the product directly into a wall outlet. Follow these steps to reset and relocate the product.
  1. Press the On/Resume button to turn on the product.
  2. With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
  3. Relocate the printer to a different power outlet, preferably an outlet in a different room.
  4. Plug the power cord directly into the wall outlet. Do not use a power strip, extension cord, or surge protector. CAUTION: Do not reconnect the power cord to the back of the product at this time.
  5. Load letter or A4 size unused, plain white paper in the tray.
  6. Reconnect the power cord to the back of the product.
  7. Press the On/Resume button to turn on the product. The product automatically prints an alignment page.
