Try to edit track name by putting the number it appears on album at the beginning or add a column that allows you to put the number order in. could work. i did it once!

SOURCE: How do i add album art to iriver x20?

if your using wmp11 you should just be able to drag and drop.
if not right click the song/album and go to advanced tag editor, pictures and then add manually.

half the time it just wont come up because the tag doesn't read properly and the other half the album art that wmp11 downloads and applys automatically will come up!

its kind of up to chance! if you're lucky it works if not live with it its the X20!

ps the iriver plus 3 and itunes also can apply album art

SOURCE: coby mpmp3 player won't play all my songs

This unit only accept MP3 or Unprotected WMA files. The audio file your trying to play is probably protected, make sure what your adding is MP3 is the safest way to go, as those cannot be copyrighted.

SOURCE: Suddenly the sansa will not synch with Windows Media Player.

When you attach your Connect via USB to your computer, verify that the Connect is displayed as a "portable media player" under "My Computer" in Windows Explorer.

If it isn't ... try a different USB port. The Connect requires a high-power USB port, which is typically found on the back panel of your computer.

If this doesn't work, try the Connect on another computer (just verify that it shows up under "My Computer", as I mentioned). If it does, you may have a problem with the installation of WMP on your computer ... try re-installing WMP, and make sure you install the latest version of WMP. If the Connect isn't recognized on the other computer, it's possible that there is a problem with the USB cable - get a replacement.

Cannot seem to synch songs to my Sansa e260 (4G) from a CD

In Windows Media Player, go to the little black arrow under the Rip tab --> Rip Options --> Format --> Mp3

Now, re-rip those CD's and transfer them to your player

Weird Random Happenings

if you're constantly updating your database of music or you're constantly making changes toyour files then your media player may be trying to update itself unsuccessfully, unfortunately this doesn't offer the option to automatically erase your old files. Under your media and synching options try to turning off your auto-synch option. Disabling this option or making it manual will have the disadvantage of not updating your subscribed music, but may keep songs that you already have in your database and on your media player from doubling up.

Gogear Juke boxes

Before trying to delete the duplicate songs, first try re-synching your GoGear with Windows Media Player by connecting the GoGear to the computer and clicking on the Sync tab (if you haven't set up the GoGear for automatic sync).

You must use Windows Media Player to delete songs from the GoGear. With your GoGear connected to the PC, you want to highlight (single left click) the icon of the GoGear (or line that says Philips GoGear blah blah blah) on the left hand side of Windows Media Player 11 - this will ensure that you are deleting files from the GoGear itself, and not the computer. Once the GoGear line is highlighted, click on the "Songs" or "Album" folder underneath the GoGear line (NOT the "Songs" or "Album" folder underneath the "Library"). This will bring up a list of songs stored on the GoGear into the middle pane of Windows Media Player 11. Highlight (single left click) a song you want to delete and press the delete button on your computer's keyboard. windows USUALLY gives you a prompt asking if you really want to delete the files/they will be permanently removed from your (GoGear) device. Congratulations, you have just deleted songs from your GoGear! :-)

The HDD 1630 doesn't work particularly well with Windows Media Player 11, so you may have to follow Microsoft's instructions for rolling back to Windows Media Player 10.

Deleting problem

Try downloading the MEDIA MONKEY. Its better than windows media player and itune. It automatically detects any mp3 players and you can synch your e280 without any problem. Whether you are using vista or xp the media monkey is way better than windows media player. You can open your mp3 player once you see it in the Media Monkey left pane, from there you can delete songs and explore your mp3 player.

Sansa MP3 M240 No volume when playing songs, says to synch

Where did you download the songs? Napster?Rhapsody? Any online music stores? Try synchronizing them using their software. If you have ripped songs from a cd you may want to rip them again and before ripping them check this option on your windows media player software. Tools > Options then under RIP MUSIC remove the check mark that say's Copy Protect Music or choose the file format as MP3. Then format the device using the windows media player software(for version 10 = click on the sync tab then choose the pencil like icon on the far right, for version 11 = right click on the sync tab choose the player and choose format) use after doing that rerip the songs using the windows media player software.

Mp3 player

Load the Philips software onto your computer. You have to load the songs onto the player using WMP (Windows Media Player) 8 or 9. Connect the player using the USB cable. Run the Philips Go Gear Digital Audio Player software. Upgrade the firmware. This will format the player and erase everything you have done so far. Start WMP. Click on the Synch tab.It will have 2 window panes. In the right side, at the top, there is a drop list. Select the player from the list. Now create a synch list by clicking on edit playlist. Once you have added the songs, click Start Synch. That's all there is to it. Ian
