Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
The console could be overheating or the disc might be dirty / or the console lens dirty.
The overheating, you could use canned air to blow dust out from the console. If you are on warranty you should contact sony as this may be the heat transfer compound dried up which is between the component (cpu or video adapter) and the heatsin. Sony should repair and replace that problem.
If your are outside of warranty and If you know how to get to the heat sinks, you could go in there andput some new high quality Heat Transfer compound between yourprocessors and the heat sinks.
You could also try a Blue Ray lens cleaner.
Any questions let me know.
