The Console will not turn on...There is not even a red light indicating power. i removed the console and tried in a variety of working outlets..no luck...???
My Wii didn't have power and wouldn't turn on, I thought it was fried. Per the Wii site, I tried this and it worked, my Wii is back up and running!!
Try resetting the AC adapter.
Unplug/remove all accessories from the system (including game discs, SD Cards, memory cards, Nintendo GameCube controllers, hookup cables, the AC Adapter, and Sensor Bar) from the outlet and Wii.
Let the system rest for about 90 seconds. While you're waiting, check to see that controller cords, AC Adapter, and Stereo AV cables/Component Video cables are not frayed or have exposed wires (this can cause the system to shut off); if so, you should replace those parts.
After the 90 seconds, Plug the AC Adapter into the system and directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector or power strip. Check to see if the power light on the Power button comes on.
1 one two things, the power brick has died, which you can replace via any video game store. Option two the power connection on the unit has died, in which case this needs to be repaired. If the console is still under warranty just mail it in to get fixed. If not find an electronics repair technician to fix.
