Has the sticky pad been used already? If not just remove it an place against glass an attach other side to glass as well. Making sure all parts have room. If sticky pad is removed or used up you can contact factory about replacement ot try thr rear view mirror glue that is used for those. The antenna works nicely when set up properly

Remote will only start when i am close to vehicle

It depends on many things - mostly the range of the system itself and especially where you located the remote antenna. Some installers don't use the antenna and that will limit range severely. Most manufacturers want the antenna routed up the windshield pillar and mounted near the top of the windshield glass. This gives best reception since glass does not hinder the RF signal. OF course, a weak battery in the remote can cause range issues as well.

Antenna GPS Tram 1655 is compatible with GPS FURUNO?

If the Furuno unit you're referring to uses a GPS antenna with a coax (i.e. GP31/32) then the Tram antenna will work but the connector is wrong. The Tram antennas usually come with BNC connector and Furuno uses a TNC. Will need an adapter.

When I bought my Volkswagen Jetta (2001 and used) it did not come with an antennae. Where can I find and antennae and how do I install it? Thanks.

Your antenna is mounted on the roof, just above the rear glass. You have three choices on where to get an antenna. Your local salvage yard, eBay, or the dealer. And that is most likely the same order in price. It simply screws on to the post. Clockwise to install.

Where is the antenna located on a 1996 lincoln towncar

The antenna is located on the top of the rear glass. There is no external antenna mounted on the 1996 Town Car. If you look at the rear glass, the antenna is the squiggly wires at top.

Excessive static equally on all chanels on cb

You should always connect the CB directly to the battery as the accessory socket is full of noise. You also should choose a better antenna as these small glass mounts cannot hear signals well and magnify local noise. AM (CBs) radios naturally pick up noise as it is the nature of AM signals. Use your squelch to lesson this but too much can knock out you reception.

I have a 03 f 250 superduty v 10 i would like to know how to know where to drill hole in roof and how to run coax wire to cb

all vehicles normally have spot at the dome lights. to put cb/ham/commercial antennas. but some ford trucks have a center rib on the roof which sometimes would have to off-center an antenna. on newer trucks. I would use the ham NMO mount that has the 3/8" hole (not3/4") and use a wilson 1000-5000. or tram base load antenna.. depending on power wattage needed. we normally carry the 3/8" mounts they have coax and pl259 connector on them. look us up. lowest prices guaranteed.

Is it my CB antenna or something else

First off, Midland makes a fine radio. Make sure your squelch is turned all the way down to receive distant signals (down meaning counter clockwise). The through the glass antennas are not the best thing in the world. I personally use a 102" whip and a 6" spring on a modified mirror mount. It is installed on the tailgate side of the tool box. The TX and RX is amazing. Wilson and K40 make great antennas also.

Shouldn't need one. Does the rear antenna connect to the direct FM box?
