No print on rec'd or sent faxes

I have just installed a new toner cartridge for this particular fax/phone machine & still have problems printing on anything rec'd or sent. No error messages are present.

And that is exactly what I mean. Not receiving or sending with any toner on the paper. And yes, all of the pckg. seal has been removed. Will look into a faulty cartridge (hopeing it's not faulty as it's brand new). Any other suggestions?

Surely you don't have blank copies rec'd and sent as these are two different parts of the machine entirely. I'll assume you mean rec'd and copied. Sounds like you've left a packaging seal on the cartridge to me - or it's a faulty cartridge. Remove the cartridge and check that all packaging has been removed - especially plastic strip that prevents toner from dropping into the cartridge.

You state that you have 2 new toners and both make a noise, but the old one does not. If both the two new toners came from the same source then it is possible that the vendor has a quality control problem and manufactured several defective cartridges. It does happen. If these are not genuine Muratec toners, that makes it all the more likely because often they are remanufactured and attention was not paid to details. Is the old cartridge from the same vendor and does it bear the same brand name if it is not a genuine Muratec item? 15 years in this business tells me that if the old one is quiet and the new ones are noisy, something is wrong with the cartridges, not your machine.

White space in middle of faxes sent or received

Printing irregularites on sent faxes are due to spots or a dirty scanner.
Spaces on received faxes are due to a dirty drum, corona wire, or a failing or improperly installed toner cartridge. A new cartridge should be gently shaken back and forth sideways prior to installation.

Panasonic kx-fl511 has blank vertical lines on fax when printing.

It's important to gently move the toner cartridge from side to side to distribute the toner evenly through the cartridge. This could be causing your blank lines. Also, clean the Corona wire when installing a new toner cartridge. Best of luck.

Screen faxes ?

Fax on this model have no connection to computer. So faxes sent on this machine or for that matter on any fax machine cannot be viewed on computer. it is only possible if you have a fax modem attached with your PC. If you want to save on toner get the cartridge refilled.
