Question about Nikon COOLPIX L4 Digital Camera
Old reply, but that's exactly what it is. If you recently changed batteries, the camera reset itself, and now you have to change the date, time, and timezone for where you are.

Maybe it wants you to set the clock time? or you have a timer set so it delays the shutter when you take a picture. try pushing a button on the camera with a clock on it.
