I thought it was the screensaver settings that make my screen goes black after checking the properties I dont know what is the problem it goes black after 72 seconds like a screen saver then turns on after a key is pressed. Can you suggest me what could I do to fix the problem

The option is under Screen saver options or there is an idle time shut off selection under Power Saver options as well. When you select your screen saver there is are specific options to customize how it shows and how long before it activates. Some screen savers have more options than others.
Right click on your desktop go down list to properties and left click under the screensaver tab click the power tab and turn off the power saver in other words change settings to always on and no hibernation
right click on the desktop from mouse and then go to properties. now use the desktop tab to change the desktop settings like wallpaper and icons. and use screen saver tab to change or edit screen saver settings.
In Windows Screen saver can be managed from Display Properties window. Follow the steps given below: When using Windows XP, right click on the open space on the Desktop then click Properties to open the "Display Properties" window. In the "Display Properties" window, click on the "ScreenSaver" tab to manage it.
When using Windows Vista, right click on the open space on the Desktop then click "Personalize" to open the "Personalization" window. Next, click on the "Screen Saver" option to open the window where you can manage settings related to screen saver.
To set up your screensaver, right click on your desktop and choose Properties. Choose the Screen Saver tab. In the drop down menu for Screen saver, make sure something is selected instead of (None). Next click the Preview and it will give you a glimpse of what the screensaver you chose will look like. Move the mouse to get out of it and select apply if you like that one or choose a different one.
Black screen is probably a screen saver or the screen is turned off by power management software.
Check your screensaver setting. Change the screensaver to None to disable screensaver.
I assume you are using Windows XP.
If the LCD is turned off by power management, on the same screen with screen saver, on the lower part of the box there is a Power button. Click to open Power Options Properties. Set your monitor power properties there.
When the screen go blank and you have to push power button, probably the computer is set to go to stand by mode after some idle minutes. You can also set it here in system standby setting.
