An error message as you have posted would indicate:
1. The hard disk does not contain a valid operating system. Alternately, it may have the OS installed but some files are missing or corrupted;
2. The partition of your hard disk may have been deleted/missing;
3. The hard disk is no longer recognized by the computer;
4. Your CMOS/BIOS is set to boot from the CD/DVD only but it does not contain a bootable disc;

Corrective measures may include any or all of the following:
a. Load and use the restore/recovery CD of your PC if it came with one;
b. Repair or re-partition of hard disk;
c. Repair or re-format of hard disk;
d. Repair or re-install the Operating System;
e. Re-configure CMOS/BIOS to boot from the hard disk (HD) first;
f. Worst case scenario is replaced hard disk and re-install Operating System.

It is possible that you would loose most if not all of your documents, files and/or data unless you can do a back-up.

Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

I formatted my Sony HDR XR350 but an error E:31:00 is blinking, is there a way to solve this? thanks.

restart your computer repeatedly tapping the f8 key to enter safe mode while the screen is black once in safe mode where the only things working will be your keyboard and mouse allowing you to attempt to repair your computer you could select the option start at last known configuration that worked this will tell you if and what file has been corrupted or missing then you will know if its a hardware issue then select restart if the problem still persists f8 back into safe mode you might need to select your operating system to load into safe mode click start control panel administration tools computer management in the left panel events + to expand then system you will see all errors in right panel right click select properties this will tell you what has occurred and the time it occurred you might be able to work your way through the problem
if you need further help with this post a reply
hope this helps

Hi guys! Im having problem with my Dell monitor. When i turn on my computer it will load but my monitor just display 2-3 seconds and it will turn black again..the power light is working when i turn off and...

This is a problem with the CCFL bulb (the back light) or the inverter that powers it. This bulb is inside the lcd pannle and requires great care to replace. Some local PC Repair shops will be able to fix it however most will not. The inverter which is (most likely) the problem can be found on ebay for $20-30 USD and is easily replaceable it is general a small curcit board below the lcd pannle hidden in the bevel. However same times the board is merged into a much larger board which will be tricky to replace as it is specific to the monitor.

Don't forget to rate below.

I am unable to get windows xp to load onto my ASUS A2500H anymore. Everything was working fine for a long time, even with an external HDD attached until today. All of a sudden the laptop died and when...

The best you can try is to remove the external HDD and see if computer boots..

If it does, you know where the problem is..

If it doenst, reboot computer, start tapping F8, if you get advance boot options, try to boot computer with Save Mode, Perform system restore from save mode.

If the above doesnt work, you need to perform repair installtion of Windows XP.

I tried turning my computer on and right after the dell logo comes up to load, I get a black screen that says NTLDR is missing Press any key to restart, but when I push a key, the same error message just...

Hi,it is possible that your hard drive has crashed thats why you r getting that message or its just the Operating system,and in the event of the former i'll advise you replace your Hard drive.But in the case of just the operating system being corrupt try repairing it,if it does not work,back-up your files using and external SATA converter and format.

Error loading operating system

1. The reason it says "error loading operating system" is because kill disk wiped the operating system from off your computer.
2. Now that you have the installation disk, you need to tell the computer to boot from it. For Dells, usually press F12 when the Dell logo appears, and it should bring up a boot menu. Select the optical drive and it should boot. If you do not see a boot menu, go into your computer's BIOS and tell it to look at the optical drive first when booting, then it will boot from the disk.

You may be right , the harddrive on the system may have gone bad.
You can run a diagnostics on the hardrive,shut down the computer, and then Press the Fn+ power button at the same time , it would initate the diagnostics.

Wont turn on properly

Press the F8 key about 7 times slowly when you see the DELL logo screen after the restart.
Select the option Repair my computer.
The start up and repair window would come up follow the wizard . It should fix the issue .
If it does not , it would give you more options to try repair the system. Try system restore from the options.
If none of the above steps work , it time to reset your computer to factory settings. A corrupt vedio driver update, is the cause of this problem

Black screen

The beeps are probably BIOS beep error codes. Through a series of long and short beeps the computer communicates computer problems that occur early in the startup processes. It's likely the problem isn't your monitor but something in your computer box itself. If you can tell us what the pattern is we can start diagnosing your problem. We'll also need to know the manufacturers name, the specific model computer you have and what operating system you are running.
