Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Small chip in the upper left side of tray that holds the medal glider broke. Part can be view in the D16xD manuel.
Called Korg and then said I had to replace the whole cd writer the problem is that the writer is o.k. it is the CD disk tray of which does not come with the CD writer.
Called there authorized dealer and was told that Japan may not be sending that part to the USA and that they would get back to me.
In the event that the CD Tray cannot be repaired can I use my Tascam Cd/RW 402 to preform the funtions of the Korg CD writer? It shows the manufacturer of this part as the TEAC Corporation. When checking there site I somehow got you your site. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Is the motor spinning to try to open the drawer? Can you hear it? Can you get something under the tray edge to try to 'help' it out when pressing eject?

SOURCE: cd dont revolve in player
This sounds like a problem with the CD motor. As CD players get used a lot, the motor gets worn down and eventually stops working. If you get a lot of dust in the player, this can also slow down or stop the motor. If you feel like frankensteining the CD player, you can try and see if there is any dust. If you like this perticular cd player, I would suggest going to a electronics repair shop and have them take a look, but with the prices of portable CD players these days, you might be better of just getting a new one. You may even find one with better features at a lower price.

SOURCE: Does not recognize CD in try
if it is a cd reciver open up the cover and look for eye like shiny lens it is below the loading mech u may have to get some stuff out first for the access to lens when u see it take a tissue paper and clean it in cicular motions 10 to 12 times and then re fit
if u are not technical just but a cd lens cleaning around 2 $ cheap with brushes installed put the thing in and it will do the job but i think manual procedure is good for that
otherwise ur LENS is finished get a new player u cant find parts so cheap but u may at EBAY
pls rate me WELL !

SOURCE: CD Rom tray stuck
does the case a a faceplate infront of the cd rom drive(i.e. if there is a door that flops down when it opens)? if so you probably need to take off the computers faceplate and then you can get to the little hole.
