I recently followed advice on Apple website for creating a 2nd library for itunes (I have 2 ipods that need to sync and I didn't want to create just 2 playlists) This worked for about 5 computer restarts then I received a message that itunes wasn't installed properly. I tried to repair itunes to no avail. then I removed itunes and tried to reinstall. Itunes downloads but when I run the installer, it hangs at a point close to the end of the process and will not complete installation. I am running Windows XP Pro SP 3.

I have an iTunes directory that can not be removed. Seems there is another directroy inside that contains corrupt files. How can I remove all of these directroys so that I can reinstall iTunes?
