Question about Sony VPL HS10 Multimedia Projector
I have a Sony HS10 projector. When I turn the projector on the lamp turns on with the warmup white screen with green LED on the projector on.
After about 5-10 seconds the Lamp tuns off, the status LED flaches green and the 'Lamp/Cover' led also turns on solid orange. The projector then powers down immediately.
Is this something I can fix or do I need to take the projector in for a service?
You could try a new lamp, some lamps fire, but do not stay on

It appears your bulb has reached its end, replace the bulb.

your projectors lamp cover may be open. or there is some thing happened (may be contact problem) with the lamp cover open sensing switch. just open the door and close it. and then try again.
