I was having this problem and found a solution so I wanted to share! Simply download Google Chrome and use it as your search engine for Facebook. It was a free download and now facebook works perfectly for me! :)

You must have a facebook account to log on to facebook. Click the link in the mail and it will take you to facebook site if already have an account it will open staight to your facebook profile. That is a true message from facebook. When checking for any real website over a fake address, look for "https" in the beginning of the address. Make sure the "s" is connected with the "http". This ensures that you are entering a "secure" web address. Also make sure the name of the website is the same name of the company providing you a service.

You cannot retrieve deleted messages, but you can go back and find messages you archived. Archiving a message hides it from your messages view, while deleting a message permanently removes the entire conversation and its history.
