Yes, if you have an idea where the nail is ,using a volt meter or a test light ground a long wire to the breaker box or other known ground.
hook that to 1 side of the meter.
then test the heads of the nails with the other lead

with power off ,test with meter in ohms position

Yes. The longer the nail the better the chance of puncture. This is why if you route wires through the studs you center the wire in the middle of the stud. That way the wire is protected from each side of the wall.

No you don't. We answer most things here.

If the stapler is like any of these

You push the back in slightly to unlatch it and then drop it down a bit and the staple pusher comes out completely.

Pieces of the coil are breaking off when firing my Hitachi NV65AH - what causes this?

If you are using wire coiled nails, this is a common issue and there really is noway to stop this, and is advisable to wear safety glasses when ever using a nail gun. I have had 1 of the wires come off a coil and literally pierce my cheek. If it would have hit me in the eye it would have done some serious damage.

How do you load nails into a stanley tre550 nail staple gun?

there should be a button on the bottom rear of the gun, when you press it, it should release a bar that you pull back. the nails go in the dirction you nail them. sometimes the clips are too big for the guns and you have to break about an inch off of them

Arrow ET200 nail gun only put nails in 1/8 of inch.

This electric nail gun does not have much power. Try shorter nails and softer wood. You need a pneumatic nail or staple gun for medium or heavy work. I have both a nailer and stapler and neither are very good.

Nail Guns Types

The real different between nail gun's models are the sort of power supply they use. A nail gun can be powered by compressed air, electricity or batteries, or electromagnetism. Some small guns are powered by butane, a fuel that causes a small explosive charge to drive the nail into the wood. The most common type of nail gun is the pneumatic nailer, which works with compressed air.
