How do you wire a Honeywell FG 730 Glass Break?

The illustration appears to show a wire going to Power, a wire going to Tamper & a wire going to Alarm. I'm sure 1 wire will go to each power terminal. This is supposed to be a 4 wire device. Where do the other 2 wires go? Thanks

SOURCE: PIR Intruder alarm magnetic contact

Hi Bowdi,

Please find the below the information on the contacts.
You will fine two silver screws - This is your Alarm pair and this will go back to the alarm zone on the panel PCB.
The three other brass screws are just junction screws so you can join the cables to go to other doors.
You will need to join the black and blue together to make the tamper circuit.

Regards will

How do you wire a Honeywell FG 730 Glass Break?

2 for tamper, 2 for alarm and 2 for power. Extra wires are unused. tape off and tuck away from the terminal block.

I have a 17 year old Intelisense FG 730. The red light stays on all of the time. How do you fix this situation?

I know the fg- 830 has a jumper inside for what is called "alarm memory". So if you have several glass breaks on 1 zone you can find the one that triggered the zone. Look for that jumper take it off and put it back it will reset the red light. GL.

I have Intellisense FG 730 glass breaker. The red light stays on all of the time. how do I fix?

All you have to do is remove the latch jumper. It is the black piece beside the wire terminals.

MCS 730 error - tamper open. Although tamper is closed.

Bit late I'm afraid but I'm guessing you didn't use the fifth (centre) screw when you fastened the box to the wall. The centre screw is an anti-tamper device and unless you use it you'll get a tamper open error. I know because I've just been there ("it can't possibly need five screws")!
