I have a Frigidaire Affinty Front Load washing machine. Model Number ATF6000ES0. Recently it hasn't been working correctly. It wouldn't drain, which I have fixed in the past by taking it apart and cleaning out the drain. I did that this past weekend and it was majorly clogged. Cleaned it out, put it back together, tried to do a load of wash. It ran for about 10 minutes and then just shut itself off. I've been doing some research and have concluded it could be either the Door Lock Assembly or the Control Board. I know we have issues with the door latch because we have to hold the door shut when pressing start for it to lock. But it has ran fine for many months by doing this. This morning I ran an empty spin cycle just to drain all the water out. It started and ran completely through just fine. So now I am thinking it is the control board. I just want to somehow make sure this is the problem before I spend $150-$200 on a control board.

By the time you have finished mucking about it will likely cost you much more than it would to have a Techo come out to give you a quote for a few dollars to see if it is all worth it as regards your budget!

i fixed mine about 5 times and its always some thing diffrent.
try buyng the inexpencive parts first and leave for last the electronic control panel.
it could be that your washing a smaller amount than the recomended.
Take it to a profesional. dont do like me a DIY guy. Some times i need to take pictures when taking the monster appart and then because they are somany screws missing duct tape, rope or hangerwire becomes usefull.
