Olympus C 720 digital camera. How do I add the

Olympus C 720 digital camera. How do I add the time and date to pictures so that when I email them to someone, the time and date appear on the photo. I want to be able to save the file with the date/time on it so that if I email to someone or print it, the date and time appear. I have been able to set the time and date and it shows up when I check ''properties'' in my photo manager file. This information is actually for my husband.

Taran--this isn't what I hoped to hear. Is this function only available on some digital cameras and not others? My husband receives pictures with time and date on them at work, and wondered why our Olympus doesn't do it as well. We can see a date and time on the LED screen, but it does not show up on a picture when it is printed.

No, there was no real solution. What I wanted the camera to do was not possible, so additional software was the recommendation. At least I know now that not all digital cameras are capable of putting a time and date on the image, other than through the viewfinder.

Also, I am very alarmed. I thought I was purchasing a one-time "help" session for $12.99, as it turned out, I find that I am signed up for a monthly fee of $9.99. When I tried to cancel it, the weblink was no longer valid. Leads me to believe it this is a less than reputable group of people that I am dealing with. I don't know now how to contact subscriber services to stop monthly billing.

    Thanks for your response!!!!

    Bingo!!!!

Few Digital Camera's have this Date - Time stamp feature. Even few of the Olympus models have this feature. However, as far as your model is concerned, it's not there.

That's the reason, these software companies are making billions by offering this to the customer. Once you download the picture, you can use these software to add the Date and Time feature.

I know its Frustrating, But there is nothing that you or we can do!!!

We have to accept the fact.

    Hope i helped you.

How to put date and time on picture

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Date time stamp for olympus c-5000. How to turn

I had the same problem. I wanted to set my Olympus C5000 Zoom to automatically date stamp photos. After going through the entire manual, I had to call Olympus directly. They told me that none of their cameras have an internal date stamp feature. They said that the date stamp lowers the quality of the picture, so they choose not to have the feature available. However, you can manually add the date and time stamp through the software that comes with the camera, just before you print the pictures. Hope that helps...
if you need help with that manual go to http://www.olympus.co.jp/en/support/imsg/digicamera/download/manual/ and get our off the list.
It is on there!!! about the middle of the page.

Can't find how to set date/time stamp on picture

By default Olympus cameras do not print the date on the images when they are downloaded to a PC. Olympus does not include this functionality because they feel that it detracts from image quality. There is a function of the camera called print order that you can set that it will print the date on the images but this is only if you take the card to a photo processing store. However if you use the Olympus Master software and print the images that you have previously transferred there is a check box in the print setting window that you can add the date and or time to the printed image.
