Question about LG LHD45EL Dehumidifier
The unit will turn on but the motar just seems to hum for a while and then goes quiet. The compressor seems to come on occassionally but no water is being drawn out and it has rain in my area 18 out of the last 25 days.
Could be a failed compressor start relay. They are replaceable. Get one at an appliance parts store for your model or a generic one. Make sure you are unplugged before changing.
