Engines only need 3 things to run

Fuel (is it fresh, carb clean, jets clear)
Compression (test with compression gauge)
A spark at the right time (remove plug, ground it, check for spark)

What is the situation when the generator wont start? Hope you can say details.
Reason:
Air intake port is blocked.
The fuel is not enough or the quality of fuel is poor.
Fuel system and injection system failure

Check your oil. If you don't have good oil pressure it will shut down.

Check for spark. If it has spark, try starting using starting fluid. If that starts it, then you know it is a fuel problem. You may need to rebuild the carb.

This sounds like a dirty carbureator. Just bad enough that it won't start cold.

You have a short in the remote start wiring, incorrect wiring terminations, or a defective control sensing in the transfer switch

It could not be starting for any number of reasons. Old stale fuel, carbeurator out of adjustment, bad spark plug, dirty air cleaner.

OC means OVERCRANK safety circuit stopped the auto start-up so you wouldn't burn up the starter. There is a reason the generator didn't start. Low battery, not enough fuel pressure, clogged air filter, bad starter... You just have to eliminate as many as you can visually. Rebooting the generator should clear the OC condition and you can try to start it manually.

Is it Inverter typr generator?

measure output voltage - anything?
take back cover off generator itself, measure continuity of stator and rotor, and visually inspect windings. You'll find AVR module there too, it may be the reason.
