Mitsubishi WS-55857 no red convergence

I have a Mitsubishi WS-55857 and the red convergence can't be adjusted. Blue convergance works (can be adjusted). Picture looks ok but can't get colors to line up. Should replacing the convergance chip (STK392-570) fix the problem? Thanks.
