My Samsung RF26XAERS chiming and the ice on/off light keeps turning on and shutting off by itself. There seems to be no set pattern of how long or when it beeps. Sometimes it beeps more than once a second for a couple minutes straight and sometimes it might not beep for 15 minutes, then beeps once. It just started doing it today when we were watching TV and wont stop. What can be causing this problem, and how can I fix this Problem. Please help me, It's driving us crazy..
NOISE? from the fridge inside? or from the outside compressor? In overstressed compressor or low freon level will make weird noises? a bad fan in freezer will? Even seen bad ice makers make weird noises? if the ice making is hindered by obstructions?

have you tried resetting the controller? press the top two buttons in untill the display flashs off AND ONN THEN LET IT ESETR.

If this is listed under the right model, then the only thing it could be is some models have a
door alarm,that will beep if the door is not closed. You could check and clean the gasket.
Or it the switch that tells the fridg that the door is closed. Check if there is a top door adjustment to bring the door closer to the fridge where the door hinge is. This might apply or push on the switch more.

CHECK YOUR DOOR SWICHES AND WIRES. IF THEY REMOVED THE DOORS THE WIRES TO THE SWICHES ARE UNPLUGGED.
