How do you reset the pump for this dishwasher

Reportedly about 18 years old. Kenmore appliances may be made by Frigidaire currently and this product number was originally attached to Kenmore appliances. Whether or not you can find a manual to an 18 year old dishwasher is anyone's guess. Purportedly, one can get manuals for the Frigidare products at the Frigidare site. But for an 18 year old dishwasher made by Kenmore? There are a few things to check. Do you have power and water turned on to the dishwasher? During the dishwasher installation, these should be off for safety. Is the CL (control lock) enabled? To disable this, press and hold Delay Start for about 3 seconds.

Please check the model number. I suspect you may have a Frigidaire FGID2466QF5A. I see that you need to find the model number for your Frigidaire dishwasher and a location of the reset button. There is not a specific reset button on your dishwasher. The best way to reset it is to disconnect power from it for at least ten minutes. You can locate the model number on the inside left hand wall of your dishwasher. From the information you have provided your Frigidaire dishwasher is blinking codes and you have replaced the control panel. What lights are blinking on your dishwasher? Could you provide me with your model number please? The model number can be found on the serial tag which is located on the inside left hand tub wall. Hey wolfangel238 - I suggest visiting the Frigidaire website to obtain the manual for your dishwasher.

Remove the lower spray arm, the filter and the volute cover. Check for a foreign objects inside.

If there is nothing wrong then the pump & motor has to be replaced.
