Question about LG Computers & Internet
The most likely cause is bad capacitors or a fuse in the power supply board.
Dissassemble it, its not very hard, and get the board out so you can see the round barrel shaped capacitors, if you see tops that are rounded rather than flat, then they are bad.
These can be replaced rather easily, there is a complete set of capacitors on eBay for about $12, individual capacitors are much cheaper from mouser.com, but you have to pay shipping, so the ebay item is probably the best bet.
