Problem for Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z3 Digital Camera
I have what seems like a very easy thing to fix,
I have what seems like a very easy thing to fix, but the estimate I got for fixing it seems much too high ($175). I dropped my Konica Minolta Dimage Z3 camera a while ago and now the battery lid won't stay closed. I need a replacement for that and the camera will be as good as new. Any suggestions? Is this harder than I think it is?

You can quite often find parts or broken camera on Ebay for parts. Only you know what your level of technical expertise is to repair. This is not a hard repair. What you have to ask is the age of the camera worth the cost.
