Open the door on the back above the power cord. Rotate both blue levers all the way up so they change from "1" to "2". Wrinkle problem will be solved. This was in the troubleshooting section of the online user manual, page 95. You would think they would tell you about this in the envelope section of the manual.

How to print #10 envelopes on a Xerox 3610 printer?

Solution : Print on Envelopes You can print envelopes from the Bypass Tray only.
Guidelines for Printing Envelopes
  • Print quality depends on the quality and construction of the envelopes. Try another envelope brand if you do not get desired results.
  • Maintain constant temperatures and relative humidity.
  • Store unused envelopes in their packaging to avoid excess moisture and dryness which can affect print quality and cause wrinkling. Excessive moisture can cause the envelopes to seal before or during printing.
  • Remove air bubbles from the envelopes before loading them into the tray by setting a heavy book on top of them.
  • In the print driver software, select Envelope as the paper type.
  • Do not use padded envelopes. Use envelopes that lie flat on a surface.
  • Do not use envelopes with heat activated glue.
  • Do not use envelopes with press and seal flaps.
  • Use only paper envelopes.
  • Do not use envelopes with windows or metal clasps.
To Load Envelopes in the Bypass Tray:
  1. Open the Bypass Tray.

    • For Number 10 envelopes, load the envelopes with the short edge going into the printer, flaps down, and flaps to the right.

Envelopes are properly loaded into the special Envelope tray, but print upside down. We have changed every setting we can find, but either jams or prints upside down. I found a link that indicates a...

Try this!

I am hoping that you are trying to print envelopes from a microsoft word document right?

Open the document and go to the tools area and open envelopes and click the button option to save the envelope as a copy in the document.

This should show a picture of an envelope above your document and/or letter written. Highlight the text on the envelope and edit your font. Change the direction of the font to upside down.

Then print the envelope only by clicking on the picture of the envelope on the screen and then choose "file" and "Print" and then change the setting to "current page only" and choose "ok" to begin printing.

Load the envelopes the same way that you are now (with the printing upside down in the printer).

Print one copy and see if this solves your problem.

If not, repost your problem and I will help you solve this.

Trying to print on a #10 envelope from iMac 27 with Os 10.5.1 using iWork. Printer will not load paper

I am on an iMac using OSX 10.5.8 and printing on an Epson R1800. With iWork, word processing module I set up the envelope to print and under the File menu, select page setup and choose #10 Envelope with Portrait orientation. I feed the envelope into the printer in the normal horizontal, top first, print surface up. In the File menu I select Print and hit Return. Most of the time this works. Sometimes the envelope feeds through without printing, and occasionally the envelope won't feed but the printer goes through the printing cycle. The R1800 is not the ideal envelope printer. It is made to print photos on photographic paper. I use an old fashioned typewriter to address envelopes.

How do I print an envelope with this printer? It says open the bypass tray and load paper, when I do, it does nothing.

The bypass tray is not designed properly, when an envelope is set on the tray, the wheel is not in contact with the envelope. I just lifted the end of the envelope until the wheel could grab it and the envelope printed. So simple :)

Envelopes (7"x7", 120 GSM) not being "grabbed" by Epson R1900

I have had a lot of trouble printing on envelopes esp. if too thick. I skipped printing on envelopes but with my cardstock I found that the paper I was using had too much lint too but I was able to solve this by using a slightly damp (definitely NOT wet) paper towel (as lint free as possible) and just wiping/patting the rubber rolling element. The residue seems to stick to the damp paper towel. But I have to do it quite often (about every 2-3 sheets) I'd try printing individually also.

How to print envelopes aficio ricio mp c4500

On an MP-C4500, envelopes must be printed using the bypass tray (the fold-out tray on the right hand side). Put the envelope in face-down and tighten the two fences so the envelope is snug.

When printing the envelope, make sure the print driver is set for the correct envelope size. If envelopes tend to jam in the printer, try setting the bypass paper type for thick paper.

Printing envelopes

You have to either use the MP Feeder or an Envelope Feeder. When you send the job to the "Manual Envelope" option, it will beep and prompt before each envelope is printed. Same will happen when you use the "Manual Paper" option.

You will have a hard time printing 1000 envelopes. The printer will print a rated engine speeed for the first 6-10...After that, the narrow media sensor will force the printer to slow down and you will proabably get 5-6 envelopes printed per minute.

Cannot print odd-sized envelope with 4250 LJ

I got to HP tech support, and they tell me that the envelope feeder is intended only for a few standard envelope sizes. If we're trying to use a different sized envelope, as in this case, it must be fed manually, and the feeder bin will not work. So that answers that. Thanks for the help, though.

Solution --> Phaser 4400 Printer: Printing envelopes

Printing EnvelopesEnvelopes can be printed from the optional envelope feeder, the Multi-Purpose Tray, or Tray 1, 2, or 3.
Guidelines for envelope printing
  • Use only paper envelopes.
  • Do not print on the back of the envelope.
  • Never use envelopes with windows, metal clasps, or exposed gummed surfaces.
  • Keep unused envelopes in their packaging to avoid the effects of moisture and dryness, which can affect print quality and cause wrinkling.
  • Envelopes may wrinkle depending on weight and stiffness of the envelope.

Many applications include a tool for creating an envelope document. For example, Microsoft Word includes an Envelopes and Labels feature in the Tools menu. Be sure to:
  • Select faceup.
  • Clear Clockwise Rotation.
  • Select the feed method with the image centered and the stamp on the envelope to the upper left.

caution_image88x30.gif Never use envelopes with windows, metal clasps, or exposed gummed surfaces; they can damage the printer. Damage caused by using unsupported envelopes might not be covered by your printer's warranty.
note_image33x30.gif Note: The heat from the printing process can melt certain types of envelope glue. If the envelope flap sticks shut after printing the test print, tuck the flaps inside the envelopes when printing the remaining envelopes. Printing envelopes from the envelope feeder
  1. Insert the envelopes into the envelope feeder. For more information, refer to the Trays section of the Trays and Paper Guide on the Interactive Documentation CD-ROM.
    • Place the side to be printed faceup.
    • The top of the envelopes should be toward the left of the printer.
