Juliet. Most likely the scanner lamp, or scanner control unit assembly is defective. If you're technically savvy, you could remove the scan glass and lube the shaft that the scan lamp assy slides on. Sometimes that will fix it. Otherwise, the whole top scan unit will need replacing. That could cost over $300 for the replacement.
that is a driver issue, and Windows is notorious for issues like that, assuming you are using Windows. Go into Device Manager and use the 'Update Drivers' tab.
I have refilled my HP LaserJet M1132 MFP toner and the print quality does not look good. It is very faint and if I try to increase the contrast, it is not readable. Please advice
