You have a leak due to the Lid seal leak.
1- Unplug the power, then pull out top draw half way and
2-Touch the bottom top housing ( not bottom top draw) you will feel it wet. Try to dry it by stick in a towel.
3- Repeat the same for the bottom drawer.
After drying out, wait for at least 1 day so the sensor can be dried out then plug in the Power, you will be fine.
4- Contact me for the next step.

Bosch dishwasher dw44zp/16 dishes have soap residue and are not clean

Hi

White film deposits are observed if water is hard or when you are using more detergent than needed, try filling detergent cup half way. Try using white vinegar after the wash cycle is complete, run a complete cycle. Also turn down the heat on the hot water fed to the dishwasher. Try using water softener for better results.
You can also add vinegar in the final rinse cycle. Make sure that your soap dispenser drawer is opening and closing fine.

Hope this helps... Please post back if more information is required.

The soap dish opened, but the dishes were not cleaned. The soap remains on the door even after two or three wah cycles. Checked all of the buttons.

Since you mention that your dishwasher has a dispenser has a flap that opens but detergent does not come out, the problem could be the wash water is not getting to it.

Can you confirm if during wash cycle the water is circulating especially through the top wash arm.

Keep a small container on the top rack and see if there is water collected in it at the end of cycle. Alternatively run the dishwasher with door open (you will have to find a way to enable the door switch inside the latch).

Please post a comment to confirm what you observe.

I put liquid dishwashing soap IN THE RINSE AGENT DISPENSER. What can I do?

I suggest purchasing a pipette (long thin flexible plastic eyedropper thing) from hobby lobby, Frye's, or from a scientific lab supply.
Draw up as much a you can from inside. Apart from that unless you remove the panels from the door to access the reservoir, then it may take several more washes to remove the soap from the the rinse additive dispenser. One more thing, you could start the machine in the rinse mode to wash the dishes and stop it when done and restart in the wash mode to rinse. When that is finished, stop and restart in the drying cycle. Good Luck!

The dishwasher was full of soap suds but most of the water drain

Suds? If you use dishwashing detergent you shouldn't get suds. If a small amount of sink type dish soap is left on a dish before loading it into the dishwasher this can happen. I would use several rinse and drain cycles with the racks and dishes removed until the suds are gone.

Never use any type of liquid dish soap made for sinks. The same thing that makes suds in the sink will make even more in the dish washer.

Hope this helps!

OLD KITCHENAIDE MODEL KDI-20 LEAVES SOAP GRANULES ON DISHES.

I have this same problem, plus the pre-wash soap dispenser doesn't open sometimes even though a service guy replaced that. Could he have replaced just one side and not the other? this dishwasher also has a new motor. sometimes it washes beautifully. but other times it does not. even if both dispensers opened.

Dishwasher

If you are you using a liquid soap or packets that will be the main problem. If your unit fills with water circulates the water and drains the water, and also heaters are working then you probally need to change to cascade powder soap. The film on the dishes is soap. The unit has so much build up in it that when it gets to the rinse cycle it is rinsing dishes with soapy water. You need to get 2 medium bowls fill both 2/3 up with white vinager, place one in upper rack and one in lower rack and run unit on longest cycle letting the vinager splash out during wash.do this with no soap and no dishes.Having soft water will allow you to use less soap.

Dishwasher soap dispenser sticks

Your soap is clotting because there isn't enough water being sprayed around inside.  The water spray washes the soap out of the dish, if all is working well.  My machine had the same problem.  I had sufficient water level, but the spray head wasn't spinning very well.  I found the end-most hole in the spray bar to be plugged.  It is the end hole that provides a jet that makes the head spin.  I cleaned a bunch of debris out of the hole and the mchine started working and cleaning like it was new.  That was quite an axccomplishment since the machine is 15 years old.
