hi ;
there's a problem in screen driver of your LCD, if you lost your receipt,that's bad luck.
if you know how to disassemble the back case of the TV , you can try some RESETTING of connectors from LCD screen driver to display driver board

Hi,
I'm sorry, it sounds problem with lcd panel (screen) that is defective and causing lower half distorted image. If tv is under warranty then call number written on warranty documents for warranty cover or lcd panel (screen) replacement would cost you approx 80% of new tv price.

it sounds like a bad t-con board. this board my not be sold without geting the whole screen. the t-con borad is at the top of the screen and connects to your main board

Call for warenty repair,ur tuner board have problems.Or tries bring it back at were the store u buy it at.Return it exchange for another one.

Vertical Lines on Sony Bravia TV.


I'm afraid, its problem of LCD Panel (screen).
LCD Panel replacement is only solution for this problem and will cost you 70% of TV price, please contact nearest Sony service center for LCD Panel replacement.

The LCD Panel must be replaced to fix both problems. The cost in doing this would exceed the value of the set. I recommend not putting the money into it.

IF THIS IS AN LCD SET, YOU NEED TO GET IT SERVICED. YOU HAVE A BAD LVDS CABLE OR A BAD PANEL. HOPE IT'S UNDER WARRANTY OR A SERVICE CONTRACT.
