Try to check the network settings of your phone through your service provider. Have then reconfigure your calls and message settings for them to resolve your issue.

Why does my Nokia lumia 520 ask for a pin code when I put a lycamobile sim in? The phone is on the O2 network and lyca uses O2?

the sim has not been connected to the network you can not just take a random card and put it in a phone. if it is an old card that is from an old phone then the provider probably killed the number or Pin that is on the card so the network is asking for a valid pin

How can this invalid sim issue be fixed?

Invalid sim means the sim card may no longer be active , faulty or the device is network locked , cheapest option is replace the card if still not functioning the issue is with the device , giffgaff will not use the same APN as O2 , that may have to be manually input

I have unlocked my e250 it comes up with limited service or no service no matter wot sim i put in it so i tried changing network in network selection and it starts registering then comes up no cell...

mate this happened to me aswell. first type in *#06# and tell me what comes up. If you have all zeros as your IMEI number you will need to have the IMEI number reset to the original one. this can be done from a mobile phone ulocking shop.

Limited Service ???

Hi
what has happened is that the original owner has reported it to O2 and they have applied an IMEI bar to the handset that will be circulated to all uk networks. So unfortunately the phone is now useless! Dont bother spending money trying to unlock as you would be wasting your money once all the networks know. It probably worked for a while because the owner didnt report it straight away. Shame, not a bad phone!

Limited service

Sounds like your phone is restricted to Vodafone. Each network generally puts a lock in the software to stop other network sims being used in it. If you know your phone is unlocked (sim free) then it could be that you have not activated your Orange sim card? Check the instructions that came with your Orange sim as i am sure that you need to call Orange to activate it? Hope that helps?
