Nam Cards are your phones way of telling which number it uses. NAM2 would be for an alternate number if you had one.
You will need to switch back to NAM1 so your phone identifies itself with your number.
If you provide your exact model, I can give you step by step instructions on how to do it.
Otherwise, if you remember how, switch back to NAM1 and you should be all set.
NAM Cards are which number a cell phone uses as its number. Most cell services only provide you with one number per phone which is likely to be NAM1 in your case.
Just switch it back to NAM1 and you should be good.
If you can't figure out how to get to the settings and choose NAM1, then provide the exact model of your phone and I can help you with more details.
*22888 and send for a new mobile number on a prepaid plan. if you want to activte your current # and plan on it try *22898. make sure your phones on NAM1 also when you do this. Or that could be part of the problem if you accidentally changed it. But if it doesnt program with those codes on Nam1 try Nam2 and do it again. Ive been able to do it a couple times that way.
Well by now you probably already solved this problem. This is for future references of anyone else who come across this. The steps are easy and simple. 1st, dial #43574357* 2nd, u should be at a device info menu. select system info. 3rd, your password is the last 4 digits of your MDN number.
now u can access your phone and change back to NAM1
If you know your original lock code, take it in to your service provider, each code is diffrent and can only be programed manually, if you dont know your original lock code you will have to sacrific all info pics, mess, numbers, etc. by a reset... I can guide you through the steps to erase all if you lost your Unlock code, or switch back to nam1 if you know your lock code, ( when you switch back, if security is on automatic lock, password is required) intial programing code is not your Unlock code.
