HP 1215 Cleaning

Yes, not to be rude, but obviously it needs lubrication if it squeaks (some parts may also be worn out); disassembly of such a printer may require special tools (my similar HP does) and my advice is that you seek pro help with it (and while they're at it, you should probably get a thorough cleaning and general overhaul incl. replacement of any rubber parts that cannot be cleaned with rubber cleaner). Years of service? Testament to HP printer quality, but it may have reached the end of its usable life and there are some decent printers out there for cheap. Nice if you can afford to buy American again--if you do, expect a long-lived replacement.
