89 ford F 150 . Lost fire to fuel pump and spark to plugs at the same time

There is a bad connection . Could be a loose fuse. loose wire , faulty circuit breaker . or ignition switch. If the fault is still there start at the ignition switch hot wire should be 12 volts, turn on ignition should be 12 volts on + terminal of ignition coil and 12 volts at fuel pump. if not repair as required .

Ignition fuse keep popping everytime i turn my steering wheel on my rf900

This sounds like a loose connection in the ignition wires. Anytime a spark is created the voltage in the like spikes. The spike is blowing the fuse. Find the loose connection ( or abraded wire, bad ground, etc.), and fix it.

I tried the one thing no repair person or manual ever mentioned: take out the bottom drawer, which is used for storage, and check the wire connection under the stove that connects to the ignition wire. If it is loose, disconnect at the spade connector, clean, and re-attach. Now it works fine.

Hotpoint ultima cd80 condenser dryer has stopped heating can it be repaired/reset or is it a new unit and how much? Cheers

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. If your dryer isn't working or isn't getting heated up, you'll need to check the following to be sure what exactly the issue is--
Blows fuses or trips circuit breaker —ELECTRIC Models:
• The amperage readings are at 240 volts. One line will be 24 amps and the other line will be 21 amps. The neutral line will be at 3 amps. If the above amperages are not present, then the house wiring, fuse box or circuit breaker should be suspect.
• Shorted heating element to housing.
• Incorrect wiring or a wire shorting to ground.
• Drive motor winding shorting to ground.

Blows fuses or trips circuit breaker —GAS Models:
• If igniter is not glowing, check for 120 V at igniter.
• Igniter harness may be loose and shorted to base.
• Incorrect wiring or a wire shorted to ground.
• Drive motor winding shorting to ground.

If it runs for a few minutes and then stops, then check for the following:--
• Empty dryer.
• Check motor spins freely.
• Lint buildup around drive motor.
• Low voltage present.
• Blower impeller blocked in blower housing.
• Drive motor - start switch contacts stuck closed.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Rylee

Took baterry out to charge

The mechanic should check the ignition switch of the car . prepare the equipment to be used then check the ignition switch, check the wires that are connected to the ignition switch that connect to the battery. you also have to check the fuse if the ignition switch is worn out or destroyed then repair or replace. The wires if there are worn out or destroyed wires and fuses then replace , if loose wire connection then reconnect them. But to figure it out the problem is only in the ignition switch and its wires or wire connections. You just have to repair and reconnect the wires and repair the ignition switch.

1992 dodge dakota ignition switch

the mechanic should check the ignition switch, the wires, the fuses, the ignition assembly ,the rotor coil, the starter solenoid and the connection of the ignition switch to the battery . If there is a worn out or destroyed spare parts then repair or replace them .the wires , if there are loose wires or worn out wires reconnect them or replace them.the fuses if there are worn out or destroyed fuses then replace them also. These are the causes of electrical problem of truck .If these said spare parts are being checked or replace then the car problem can be solved. the truck won't start because of some electrical problem not being seen . to be checked. And don't forget the connection of the battery to the ignition system . if there is a wire loose then re connect if worn out then replace.
