Here's your problem! if the wall station has a flickering light then your vacation lock is on , you shut this off by holding down the vacation lock on your wall station for a few seconds and let go ! It should be now a solid light and will allow you to use the wall station to control the up /down./and stop ...When the wall station is in lock mode you can only operate the door from your keypad outside the garage door , The vacation lock is meant to be used to shut down the openers receivers frequency so that while your on vacation a neighbor cannot accidentally open your door with the similar frequency ! Now if you have a problem with multiple machines there can be a problem with the logic boards on each machine , this sometimes happens when a lightning strike is very near your home and will affect the garage door opener and the sensors , hopefully this did,nt happen to you but if it did just replace the logic board and this is something you can do yourself , just find the part # on the bad board and look on ebay for a replacement , you can install a new board by taking out the 4 screws that hold it in place and removing the 12 pin connecting clip and 3 terminal wires that are connected ...they are color coded so they go back the same way ! Boards can run from $35.00 up to $75.00 depending on the board # usually older boards are much cheaper then the rolling code new ones ! Hope I was able to help Sincerely Glenn

If by "none of my openers will work" you mean none of your remotes and you have the wall control with 3 buttons you need to press and hold for 3 seconds the button with the lock icon.

My Chamberlain Liftmaster Formula 1 garage door (2002) has stopped working. The power is on -- light turns on when I push the wall mount button. But the remotes no longer work. The door does not move. ...

The light by the learn button may be sending a diagnostic code. See if it is flashing a number of times, pausing and then repeating. Count the flashes. Is your door stuck in the open posititon?

Push the wall mounted button & all that happens is the light on the opener comes on. the motor makes no noise at all.

On the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go you will see a small light. See if it is sending a code. If so, it will flash and pause and repeat. If you have had electrical storms or power surges you will need to check the logic board for burnt or missing traces on the printed circuit.

Garage door opens w/ Power outages

You will need to get a surge protector on this unit first of all. You will have to replace the logic board and maybe the wall button or sensors depending on how bad the surge was. Any time the power goes out the logic board can be affected by it. Thanks BB

Garage door will not open. no lights flashing on

Check to make sure that the lasers at the bottom of the door on each side are lined up. Sometimes it is easy to bump them and then they will not see each other causing the garage door to not work. Worth a try.

Door won't open

Unfortunately storms do bad things so door openers sometimes. It has most likely gotten to your logic board. You can remove that board and look for burnt or missing traces of the print. Random flashing of that LED is normal.

Upon closer inspection I found that the power board had burnt. Weve had several power surges after the ice storm and apparently one weakend the unit. Price for the board (from craftsman) is like 80.00 and not knowing what else may have took a hit I replaced whole unit for 140.00.

Garage door opener not working/no power??

No light at all on your opener? Zero none on your sensors or on your wall control? What about on the opener it self do you have lights in it? it really can only be two things I can think of. with otu seeing it One guy said check you wires. I would say tahts a great place to start I would unplug the wall control wires. Sometimes not too much with newer openers but if they got a staple in the wire it can cause a dead short. When you unplug the wire from the open it's self. Try it. If that does not work try plugging in something to the plug where the open is at. And make sure its not on a switch. Oh one last thing when you use it remote or wall control do it make any sound at all?

Light flashing and control won't work

Your opener has been hit by lightning or power surge.
If it's not too old you can replace the 'back board' (the computer board on the back of the opener.) Also If the opener has safety sensors one or both of them may be burnt out too, and if it was really bad then the rpm sensor will go too. So you could be looking at paying half the cost to repair or just get a new opener. Up to you, and get a surge protector. Lift master has a good line of products and makes thier own surge protectors for thier products.
