How do I increase the size of type in an email?

A quick fix (while reading email) is to hold down the CTRL + keys simultaneously and repeat until it is the size you want.

Having trouble seeing that small default font of Microsoft Outlook emails? There are three ways of making Outlook email text bigger.
The first includes increasing the text size of the outgoing email messages.
The second includes increasing the text size of messages that are replied to or forwarded.
The last includes making all the text of incoming emails larger as well.

Go to the Tools menu and select Options.
Click the Mail Formats tab and then click Stationary and Fonts.
Find the Personal Stationary tab, then find and click the Font button located under the New Mail Messages heading.
On the Font tab that appears, there will be a variety of options including changing the type of font, style, size and color.


Find the drop-down menu that is under the Size heading and select a bigger number.
Click OK and the new setting will take place the next time a message is composed.

Replies or Forwarded Mail
Go to the Tools menu and select Options.
Click the Mail Formats tab and then click Stationary and Fonts.

Incoming Email Messages
Go to the Tools menu and select Options.
Click the Mail Formats tab and then click Stationary and Fonts.

Look for the Display Font heading on the Personal Stationary tab and increase the size the size of the font by selecting a larger number.
This will increase the text size for all plain text incoming email.
However, it will not increase the text size of incoming HTML emails.

Set the option to read all incoming email as plain text if it is necessary to increase the text size of all incoming emails.
To do this, go to Tools, then click on Options, then look for the button that says Email Options and click Read all Standard Mail as Plain Text.

You will need to find the font & font size options on the AOL email system. The font will be what the letters look like and font size will be how large the letters are. Standard font and font size is Times New Roman 12 (this message is in that font and size). You can increase the font size from anywhere like 14 to 72 or so. Try 18 or 20.

Sending mail is easy.

Step 1) Click on New under the Yahoo! Mail title.

The following should now be didplayed.

After the To heading type in the person's e-mail adress you wish to email.
After the Subject heading type in the reason for the e-mail. eg: Hello, How are you doing? etc.
You can use the edit tabs below the Subject heading to change the font type as well as increase the size of the font.
Below that is where you type your message.
If you want to add an attachment (pictures, documents etc) then click on the Attach button next to Send.

Alternatively, you should be able to highlight all of the text in the body of the email and adjust the font size before printing.

You can only change the font in the software that you are making your documents with or with your email try changing the font type and size. This is the only way to adjust the size of your font.
