Question about Symantec WinFax Pro for PC
Check your telephony service to see if the HP software turned it off. It may need to be turned back on. Post back if you don't know how to check services.

This is a known issue with HP Officejet printers. Installing it back will not resolve the issue. You need to get the driver CD for your computer and install the modem drivers once again for WinFax to recognise the internal modem. Sometimes it also effects the sound. Hope its not the case for you. If yes then donot worry but have the sound drivers installed as well.
