Change the Router2 IP address to: 192.168.1.2,
Connect the ethernet cable to the Routers like this:
Router1: Any numbered port ( Port 1, or Port 2, etc)
Router2: WAN Port.

That should do it... Good Luck!

Computers connected to a router can communicate with each other but computers can not ping the router

Find the option on ther routers web interface to allow ping (or ICMP) echos/responses.

It's a security thing on routers and Windows firewalls so that potential hackers cannot verify the existence of your equipment.

Cannot connect to wireless router

Make sure you are connected via hardwire connection. Restart router and select 'Start->Run' and enter 'ipconfig -renew'. I am using a linksys wireless g gaming router connected to my xbox 360 and I have a belkin n wireless router connected to my computer. I cannot connect to xbox live, any help

Does the n router have the B/G radios enabled? You have to have G communicate with G. Secondly, do you have the routers configured in such a way they can bridge? If you can't bridge them wirelessly or connect them physically they won't communicate. If this is off base there are also ports that need to be open for the XBOX to connect to XBOX live and this complicates testing, so test on a normal PC with web or ping first.
