Hc30e cant tranfer video to PC

Use a firewire cable to connect the camera to the PC. Open Windows Movie Maker on the PC.
Capture the required footage.

It seems bad ccd imager problem in Sony DCR-HC30E camcorder and ccd imager will be replaced.

You need custom firmware to play backups and if you have custom firmware they go into the ISO folder in your memory stick.

i hav lost the cd for driver installation..i need the software win XP..plz help me with the software online..wer can i get it??

You need not have a CD.
Check if the cam has the firewire port. If so, you can get a 4 pin firewire cable and connect to the PC.
Switch on the Cam.
Open Windows Movie Maker and import video from device.
