Question about Dacor Epicure ERD30 Dual Fuel (Electric and Gas) Kitchen Range
The beeping can be stopped (temporarily) with a cancel function or other entry on the touch pad, or by shutting off at electrical panel. All other functions of oven work properly......how to eliminate and resolve the beeping and repair the annoying problem. Hours or days may go by without beeping and without any apparent use of appliance (3:00 AM) the incessant beeping starts all over again.
Here are the error codes for Dacor:
Range/Stove/Oven Fault Codes Failure
Code Condition Check/Repair F0 Clock pushbutton is stuck in a depressed position Check clock buttons F1 Element relay circuit failure Control board may be bad F2 Oven temperature exceeded the clean runaway temperature (self clean only) or the cooking runaway temperature (cooking modes only) Call for service F3 Short Circuit in the oven temperature sensor Check oven temperature sensor for continuity, if no resistance (zero ohms), replace F4 Short Circuit in the oven temperature sensor Check oven temperature sensor for continuity, if no resistance (zero ohms), replace F6 Failure in the EEPROM check comparison (only time of day and timer will operate) Call for service, electronic clock control is usually the cause of the problem F7 Failure of the self- clean automatic door latch system Check door latch and switch(es) F8 Failure of the door latch motor. Tips for a great answer:
Good Morning Monica, thank you for your post!
Based off what you have described your Frigidaire range is providing you with an error code of F1 after you started a self-cleaning. The error code "F1" stands for a runaway temperature (overheating). This could be an issue with your RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (Electronic Oven Control). I would recommend performing a reset on your oven and you can do that by disconnecting from your oven for ten minutes. If you continue to have issues with the F1 error code I would recommend having a professional technician out to your home for proper diagnosis and replacement of any electrical components. Hopefully this information has been helpful. -Matt
