If you have not already, please try rebooting. If that doesn't work I would then perform a repair install using the media provided.

Windows 7 does not require 4gb, that is the recommended level for windows 7 ultimate. Does this happen with any programmes or specific ones? also, do you have a seperate graphics card or is it built onto the motherboard?

Hello drea_mike67,

There may be any number of storage device faults causing the no disk exception error message. For instance, a usb device may have been removed without choosing the 'safely remove hardware' option. If that's the case then reconnect the usb device and choose 'safely remove hardware' (bottom right hand corner of your PC screen), and then remove the USB device.

If the error message still comes up then try using the device manager in the windows control panel like this:

•Opening the Control Panel
The Windows Control Panel can be opened by:
Selecting *Start > Control Panel (on Windows Vista)
- OR -
Start > Run > Type 'Control' and select OK (on Windows XP)

In the Control Panel, do the following:
•Select System
•Select the Hardware tab
•Select Device Manager
•Look for disk drives or other drives that are not used or recognized...
•Right click the device(s) and select uninstall

If this solution is helpful please click 'YES' by 'Was this helpful?' below.

Have a great day,

I cant get on the internet,

Hi there,

Try to set your IP address to automatic then afterwards, go to Run and type "cmd". A command prompt window will appear, type the following commands:

ipconfig -release (press enter)
ipconfig -dnsflush (press enter)
ipconfig - renew (press enter)

after typing these commands, close the window and try to browse the internet. If the same thing happens, restart your computer and try browsing the internet again.

It won't open Windows. Keep getting error messages

This going to be a problem with either the operating system or the hard drive. Start by doing a system repair with your recovery or operating system disc. If the repair doesn't take, then reformat the hard drive and install a new operating system. If the hard drive will not format, or you have any issues during or after the install, then the hard drive has failed and will need replaced.
