SOURCE: CISCO 7941 IP PHONE disconnect you out after certain time

Unfortunately this is a very common problem with Cisco's IP Phones. It can be caused by either a faulty hookswitch or a damaged jack. Both of these problems can be remedied by contacting IdacomUSA.

SOURCE: Why can't I connect my corporate Cisco IP Phone

Connecting a hub or switch to the "PC" port on the back of the phone is not a recommended best practice by Cisco as the IP phone does not support spanning tree protocol.

Make sure you have the phone configured as the correct device type in callmanager. Also, try and turn on auto registration in Callmanager as this will allow everything to register. Then go back and put the correct configuration the phone.

How do you pair a plantronics (cs351n/a) headset with a cisco IP 7900 series phon (cp-7941g)

Go into your sound settings, and enable the +20 gain settings on your mic setting.
It's a weird thing, mics not detecting what they're supposed to do, but it happens.
Unless you haven't installed the updated drivers for the unit? Try going to the website, and d/load the updated software for it, make sure it's for your hardware, and install it. Winblows can be outdated sometimes.
Hope that helped, in one way or another.

My voice is not heard by the person I am calling with my new plantronics supraplus wireless headset system

You don't say if this is a noise canceling headset. I am going to think it is not and go from there. If people can't hear you there may be debris in your voice tube, food, coffee, etc. This is not uncommon, getting it clean is difficult. It may need to be replaced. See this link for the replacement part.

Also, look at the CS361 User's Guide. You may want to check to make sure your headset is on the correct settings for your phone, look at the side where the numbers are 1-4 the number one should start at the 3 o'clock position. This is the phone setting, the number must line up with the serrated edge.

When I plug in my Audio 625 Plantronics to my usb port it shows an error - Device not recognized, please help..

If you are using a Mac computer your Plantronics .Audio headset will not work The microphone plug on the .Audio analog headsets is not compatible with a Mac. It will physically fit into the Mic input jack on a Mac; however, it will not function. Basically, the digital sound card does not recognize the analog signal coming in from the headset.

My Plantronics Gamecom 367 headset has a problem with the mic. For some odd reason the mic will not pick up my voice, or for that matter any sound that is supposed to be detected by it. Instead it gives me...

Sounds like there might be a broken wire (shorting out by touching something else) or something loose in the mic area. This could still be under warranty with Plantronic's. If it is you should be able to have it replaced.

What causes the Plantronic H251 to have static and fades during radio transmissions?

There are too many variables with this question. The S10,T10,T20 are designed to have a specific headset used with them. If you have purchased a cord with a quick disconnect on one end and a phone type plug on the other and then plugged it into the base amplifier using a H251 headset that may be why there is static. I would say that you need to have the original headset or correct replacement for the base.

Mic picks up background noise, even though it's not supposed to

If it's an H series, it connects into an M12 or M22 amplifier.  Change the microphone settings by looking taking off the side door and adjusting the little white wheel.  It is probably set too loud.

We can hear the customers but they can not hear us! Help

Here's the troubleshooting from the manual:
  • Make sure voice tube positioned properly
  • Voice tube is not clogged (remove tube and see if works)
  • Verify transmit volume control of amplifier is set properly
Couple other suggestions to try:
  • Reseat all connections to make sure firm connection
  • Look for any other volume controls

Best Buy: Plantronics Problem

James, plug the phone cord that comes out of the back of the CS55 base into the handset port of the Cisco phone, not the headset port.  Then plug the coily cord from the cisco receiver into the front of the CS55.  Don't use the "Headset" button on your Cisco phone, just lift the receiver off.
