Question about Onkyo TX-DS575 Receiver
I have a early model Bose system consisting of left and right cube speakers and an Acoustimass Sub module providing power to both the sub and the speakers.
When I turn the stereo on it works fine, but after 20 seconds all sound cuts out, the control unit is still going and I can hear through the headphones but not through the speakers. I turn the sub off and turn it back on and it lasts for about 10 seconds, retry then 5 seconds. Until it doesn’t work at all.

The amp is overheating. Disconnect one speaker at a time to see if problem persists. If so, the amp needs serviced.
