Loss of colour

In the meantime, check all HDMI and scart connections then check audio and video settings on the TV - you should find these via your set up menu. Has the refresh rate got changed from the original factory setting?

Depends on your external sound system... If it supports HDMI, then just connect an HDMI lead between the TV and the external amp. If you don't have HDMI, look for two RCA/Phono connectors (small circular connectors) on the back of the TV (should be coloured red & white) and connect these to the external sound system. Finally, if you don't have either of these look for a 32 pin scart socket (rectangular with a bit sticking out) and get a scart to phone cable. Plug the scart plug into the TV and connect the Red & White output leads to your external system - hope that helps :-)

Sounds like a loss of green--I am in USA and Scart term not used here but I am aware it began as internet slang for Component hookup--which does use a Green, Red, and Blue input cables---if that type then suspect no green from source or cable bad etc.

I do not know what SKY is,but if it is a kind of a transformer that is connected to the router. I have that because of the ADSL.
I discovered that this transformer has to be "new" in order to plug the HDMI cable in the transformer and the HDMI socket. I hope my English is understandable because this HDMI and scarts are a bitcomplecated to explain but simple inpractice.

I guess your either using the scart socket or the HDMI socket. You have gone into the menu and changed your input source to either HDMI or Scart havent you? Does your TV aerial input work when switched to Antenna on the input source menu. If these dont happen then you have a faulty main pcb.

check for DVD/TV cable. Use a SCART 21 conductor cable (if possible with gold contacts), or HDMI Cable if Tv has HDMI Input

DVI input has no sound as normal you can use a RCA connection to get sound from the freeview box

SCART LEAD OR HDMI LEAD MAKE SURE THERE PUSHED IN RIGHT..TRY CHANGING THE LEADS MAY BE FAULTY...MUTE BUTTON ON YOUR REMOTE??..HOPE I WAS OF SOME HELP TO YOU..........

With the first problem i would check the Scart lead to make sure both ends are pushed all the way in, if the lead is in at an angle that can cause loss of colour or picture, and that none of the pins are bent. Failing that try another Scart lead.
Most DVD players need to have progressive scan enabled in the settings menu, are you using a HDMI lead or Video Composite, (5 phono plugs)? HDMI is the better of the two!

sounds like this set is in the UK??? or somewhere out of the states. If it working good on the tuner or telex box , the equipment your plugging into the AV inputs are not compadible to the tv set or there is a setting in the TV menu to change the format to pal
