Open the dishwasher door and undo the two screws that secure the face to the counter-top. Open the kickplate and slide the diswasher out of it's hole. You should be able to easily access the back legs now. It may be easier to disconnect the drain and supply hoses (turn off the angle stop first) and flip the dishwasher upside down using a carpenter's level to make sure all your feet line up. Flip it over, reconnect, and reinstall.

I have a brand new kitchenaid artisan mixer that i have only used once. I cannot move the speed control lever at all.

Take it back, no point voiding your warranty pulling it apart. You do know you need to put a bit of downwards pressure on that knob when moving it forward and back ??

Maintain ur washing machine

Tricks to Keep Your Washing Machine Maintained

Water-fill hoses

Over time, the rubber water hoses that came with your new washing machine may leak or burst. It's a good preventive maintenance practice to check these hoses from time to time for any sign of wear or weakness. Often there's a small blister in the rubber of the hose, which could rupture. Most manufacturers recommend replacing the hoses every 5 years. An alternative is to replace the rubber hoses with high quality stainless steel fill hoses, which are more rugged.

Leveling
If your washing machine is not level, it can vibrate strongly during the spin cycle. If your washing machine is not perfectly level--with all four legs touching the floor--it can bang and rock back and forth, and even begin to "walk" across the room. This isn't good for the machine and may damage anything near the machine. Use the adjustable front and/or back leveling legs on the washer to adjust the machine to the proper height, then tighten the lock nut up against the body of the machine to keep the leg from rotating.

Most machines, however, have "self-adjusting" rear legs. You set these legs by tilting the entire machine forward onto its front legs (with the rear legs 3 to 4 inches off the floor) and then setting the machine back down. The legs should adjust automatically. If they don't, you may need to tilt the machine forward and rap on the rear legs with the handle of a hammer to loosen them--a procedure that's easier to accomplish with a helper.

Surface cleaning
Your washer has either a painted steel or porcelain-coated steel cabinet. It's perfectly safe to use a little dish detergent and a damp rag to clean all of its surfaces. If the surface is porcelain, you can even use a little non-abrasive cleanser for stubborn stains.
How to level my kitchenaid stove

sounds like back legs are up too high, or front is dipping. If back legs are at the appropriate level, then you should be able to adjust the front legs. If no adjustments can be made that way, then you might have to shim under front legs. If this is a drop in stove top, then you need to pull it out of the hole, and loosen corner screws, and push top into the correct position. Don't forget to re-tighten the corner screws. Also, if this is a range and the top is not level, then you need to shift the top forward and you should feel it drop into place. There is a slot on either side of the frame that the top should slide onto.

I moved my stackable Frigidaire washer/dryer to clean, returned it to its place and now it's un-level. How do I get it level again?

Most units are "self leveling". Try tilting the unit forward, then set it back down on the rear legs and that should do it.

The machine is brand new and shakes violently when on spin cycle

Hi. Most likely the leving legs are not adjusted properly. You can check this by pushing on the sides for you uint from all four corners indivisually. It the unit teeters on 2 legs then the legs are improperly adjusted. The easiest way to adjust them is to push on the cormer that causes any movement and rotate the adjusting leg downward. If the unit is already high then lower the longer legs intil the unit sops moving when you press on the TOP corners of the unit. Good luck. I think you can have this one solved easily.

Need to replace this unit ASAP and am having issue finding one that will fit. My R.O. is exactly 34". The existing unit shown was OK because of the 33 - 1/2. Recommendations?

all dish wahers are the same height
the differance your seeing is that
is has been adjusted to fit your cabinet height
with the adjustable legs
all units can be raised by srewing down the legs
and back levelers
make sure when you do your cabinet measurements you take this into account

Spacers and Balance

take the lid off the spacers should be at the back but when u undue the big hex screws at the back they usually fall out anyway now easiest way to balance is by just using the front adjusters and not the back make slight adjustment on each leg just so you stop swaying from side to side you dont make the washer level level you need it to sloop slightly backwards anyway to stop water from coming out of the soap drawer another thing i do when leveling a washer is once u turn 1 leg with 1 hand hold the washer by the top so u stop it from rocking now adjust the other leg up until that 1 hits the floor and turn once more now try and rock it if it doesnt move from side to side now your done dont adjust the back legs more than likely it doesnt have legs at the back most have wheels on the back now anyway m8
