Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Cut and paste

Learning how to cut and paste can make your life on the computer much easier.
It saves time and is more accurate that retyping the information, particularly if you do it several times.
If you know how to highlight words on your computer, you can easily copy sections of text and paste them somewhere else.

Open a text document or an email that contains some type.
Click at the end of the block of text you located in Step 1 and drag with your mouse back to the beginning of the text to highlight the entire block of type you wish to copy.
Release the mouse. The selected area should be highlighted in a color, usually blue.

Right-click the mouse on the highlighted text and a drop-down menu appears.
Select "Cut" to copy the highlighted text and remove it from its original position.
Select "Copy" to copy the highlighted text and leave it in its original position.
Paste the text you copied.
Right-click in an editable text box and select "Paste" from the drop-down menu.
The text appears in its new location.
Alternatively, highlight the text and hold down the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard while you press the "X" key to cut the text or the "C" key to copy the text.
These keyboard shortcuts copy the text that is highlighted.
To paste it, click in a text box and use the "Ctrl" and "V" shortcut to paste.

Letter between c and b wont work! its the paste code key also and I dont recall using it to paste anything Whmat's your problem?

Of course, it wont work because you used a wrong short cut key. The correct short cut command for copying is press the control C simultaneously then for pasting it, it should control V simultaneously. Try it again using the right short cut command. Good luck!

How can I copy the standby screen to Word Document, then probably edit it to paint?

I am not sure what exactly you mean when you say "Standby screen", if you mean the screen saver, then go to >display settings, > Screen Saver > then click Preview and while the preview is running, press "Print Screen" key on the keyboard, the image will be copied onto the clipboard, now close the display settings and paste it into the word document/paint.
We call this as "Screen Shot", you can also do the same with the desktop, suppose when you want to capture the image of your desktop, just press "print screen" key on the keyboard and paste it into the paint or other photo editing software and save it. Anything that you can see on the desktop/display of your monitor while the computer is running can be captured in the same way.
Good luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.

Possible sollutions:

#2 switch off->switch ON pc
#3 scan for possible malware using antivirus software
#4 try using keyboard shortcuts crtl+c = copy or ctrl-x = cut

Leave rate if I helped you, thanks!!

Microsoft multimedia wireless print screen button does not work

I had this problem today with a new Microsoft keyboard. The Alt + Print Screen did not produce an image when pasted in Word.

We found that "F LOCK" button needed to be cancelled and this useful facility now works!!
