Have been using the grill for a month and a half, several times a week--and it stopped working the other day--there was no dropping or water nearby--the light has not gone on---it's too soon to have such a problem

We experienced the same problem last week. We have had the grill about a year and a half, but probably used it max 1 x a month. It was working, then I unplugged it, realized our steak wasn't totally done, plugged it back in, nothing. Waited a few days, tried other outlets, no heat, no light. I wouldn't know where to look for the fuse or if it needs replacing, where to get one. It's a shame because the Teflon is still actually in good condition. We like using the machine, but it is difficult to clean.

I am a Senior Citizen and we have both the GR36CB and your outdoor Model and use them both frequently. Last night the GR36CB would not power up. Changing AC outlets didn't help. We've only had this a few months. Can you send me a replacement?

    Thanks for your assistance!

Foreman grills have a fuse on the circuit board, have you popped that section open to visually check the fuse? It could be that simple. Fuses do wear down over time, so depending on how much wear and tear you put in, it could just have broken on its own.

Of course, if you replace the fuse and it still goes, you'll need to double-check to see what's shorting it out. The unit may be dead but I wouldn't bet on it.

My george foreman grill will not power on

Check for power at the outlet where you plugged it in. Plug in a small lamp, if it doesn't light could be tripped breaker or blown fuse. I am assuming there is no switch for the outlet. With the lamp still plugged in and on plug in the grill and try to turn on. If the lamp goes off or dims noticeably, you have an electrical problem, contact your electrician. If the light does not dim and it does not get hot take to repair shop.

Foreman gv5 grill just stoped working

There is a thermal fuse in series with the heating coils inside. You will have to disassemble it, find the fuse, take it to an electric supply house and get a replacement. Some soldering "may" be necessary.

Grill problems

I would advise not to use the grill or the plug it plugs into before determining what the problem is. It could be the grill cord, or the wall plug.

If you have been in the habit of pulling the cord plug out of the wall by tugging on the cord, then chances are the problem is broken conductors inside of the wire insulation. One way to test this is to attempt plugging the unit into a totally different wall outlet. If the cord and outlet heat up again, chances are the cord needs to be replaced (if possible). If the both do not heat up, then the outlet wiring connections inside of the wall need to be checked.

Bad wiring connections either in the wall, or in the cord, will generate heat, when will then conduct to the other connector. So it is difficult to use heat as the indicator of which connector is bad.

Grill won't turn on when plugged in

try these guys for support or parts if you fancy trying youself; It does sound like the control board is the problem, and if you can get a replacement, they are a couple of connectors and a couple of screws to fix. Hope this helps :)
